Hot on the heels of Gold at the World Beverage Competition in
Florida, Prenzel's Lemon Zest limoncello liqueur and Southern Star
Premium Vodka both received Gold at the 2010 World Spirits Award in
Austria.
Judges comments for Lemon Zest included a "pure lemon juice
fragrance, with an intense taste, a lot of freshness, delicate
tartness and a very stimulating full-bodies and lengthy
finish." While the Vodka has a "fresh style with a touch of
citrus and mint, a strong body, somewhat edgy and stimulating."
Established globally after seven years, the World Spirits Award is
highly regarded within the industry, with strict criteria and
specialists being trained from scratch by the WSA in order to even
be considered to judge at the event
