Prenzel is a distillery and infusery that was established by Chris and Hugh Steadman in Marlborough, New Zealand in 1989.It began as a distillery of fine fruit brandies using abundant local fruit and a century old copper still imported from Alsace, France. The Steadman's passion for distillation saw them traveling throughout Europe learning traditional techniques and returning to New Zealand to improve upon them.

Prenzel Dunedin is owned and operated by Nicky and Doug Third. Our newly opened Prenzel outlet offers a large variety of tantalizing products. Our broad range stretches from original fruit brandies, exquisite liqueurs, schnapps and decadent dessert toppings to delicious infused oils and sauces.

Prenzel Dunedin was opened earlly 2009 and has been growing evermore popular with people looking for a little extra in culinary enjoyment. Our tasting room gives our customers the opportunity to test the quality and extraordinary taste of Prenzel products before choosing a product, and therefore guaranteeing satisfaction.
